Move your music effortlessly between car, home, or office. | An easy-to-read, six-line, 2.7-inch multi-color display helps keep tabs on the channel name and number, category, artist name, song title, and time simultaneously. The receiver also lets you program up to 30 presets of your favorite streams, as well as search by stream, artist name, song title, or category. And with a quick press of the one-touch jump button, you can instantly switch between traffic and weather reports for your city and any of your preset music, news, or entertainment channels. Other programming details include an S-Seek function that stores your favorite artists and songs and alerts you when one is playing on any of the music channels, direct station tuning via the numeric buttons, and a channel lock option.  Works really well August 12, 2008
I didn't want to get another portable radio but my last sportster broke when I dropped it. This one works great and I am extemely happy with the addition of the auxilary plug and bypassing the fm transmitter. Now I never have static or have to worry about an open station. It doesn't have the travel capability of the Stiletto but I have an ipod and do not need that anyway. I think it is a great radio and worth the money. It was cheaper on Amazon then the Sirius website or any other place with the free shipping.

This is my favorite reciever, I can move it from the car to the house to my plug and play Boom box and it sounds great.

I got this a few days ago and so far I love it. You can customize your settings pretty easily and the screen display is really nice. The only complaint I have is that when I turn it on it takes about 2 minutes for "Sirius Updates". It didn't do that the first day I had it but has been doing it since then, so hopefully it won't be forever. I have the car dock and home dock, and so for home I just got some computer speakers to plug into it and it works great.
Volume is not adequate July 15, 2008
I like the SP5, and I like SIrius over XM. However when I had XM the unit was factory installed (lease ended so I went and got SIrius).
I Bought the SP5 and Paid 90$ for installation. It works fine, however I would not say the sound quality is the same as the factory model in my other car, and it certainly cannot go very high.
That for me is a big negative. All else is quite nice with the unit
