The small but powerful P2015dn is capable of print speeds of up to 27 pages per minute (ppm), and features instant-on technology, a technology that delivers the first page in less than 8.5 seconds from sleep mode. Ideal for large and small offices, the printer's integrated networking technology makes it easy to share the printer among work teams without compromising printer performance or document security. The printer also supports high-speed USB 2.0 connectivity, which provides data transmission speeds of up to 480 mbps for fast printing and easy expansion. The printer comes with a 400 MHz processor and 32 MB standard memory, which is expandable to 288 MB. The printer delivers true 1,200 dpi output for professional-quality documents, including high-visibility reports with complex charts and graphics. Sleek and attractive, this compact printer is designed for minimal tray protrusion and fits easily on crowded desktops. The toner transfer and fusing processes of the printer are designed around HP toner to optimize print quality and deliver high-speed performance. Uniform toner particles enable precise placement and control for crisp and consistent print quality. Capable of handling duplex print jobs, the printer comes with a 250-sheet input tray, a 50-sheet multi-purpose tray, and supports the following paper sizes: letter, legal, executive, index cards, and envelopes (No. 10). not good for labels and envelopes December 2, 2008 This printer was bought specifically for envelopes and labels. The toner does not adhere - it flakes off and is a mess- it has caused a huge embarrassment in my office this morning as we are trying to get invitations out. I will not buy another HP ever again.
DIDN'T WORK November 27, 2008 PRODUCT TOOK THREE WEEKS TO ARRIVE & WAS DEFECTIVE COULD NOT GET A REPLY BACK FROM SELLER. WHEN TRYING TO CONTACT SELLER, THE SITE WAS DOWN. DON'T PURCHASE THERE!!!!!!
Great printer! October 15, 2008 Bought this to replace an old Laser Jet 5M. Was looking for a laser printer that had the duplex unit included and when I found this printer for about $255 after MIR I could not pass it up. Was very easy to set up on my home network and has met and exceeded every expectation. Since receiving at end of June 08 have printed just over 1000 pages with 200 duplex and not one misfeed or jam. Only one feature missing and that would be a straight through paper path.
Serious design flaw. September 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I work at the University of Illinois. We bought 10 of these printers in January 2007 and since then 3 have suffered failed formatter boards, which cost about half the original purchase price to repair. I would avoid this printer like the plague. There are Brother printers which work just as well or better and cost less than the repair costs for this piece of junk.
Nice printer September 8, 2008 I love it. I had enough of trying to use my InkJet with a print sharing devise for my network. It works great. Fast wakeup and printing. I work for goverenment angency and they have to pay about $40.00 dollars more for the TN model. I'm sure government contract is not new to anyone.
