Nice and useful portable HDD March 11, 2010 Valentin Pascaru (Ro) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love my new external HDD. Is very small, compact and has plenty of space to store your data. No issues so far.
wouldn't buy again March 10, 2010 L. Owen (Seattle, WA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Device died after 3 months. WD will replace it with a new one, but I'm on my own to find and pay for data recovery, which is why I thought I bought this thing in the first place. Thanks for nothing Western Digital!
Too Slow......You need incredible patience for your WD Passport March 4, 2010 X. He (Davis,CA) I bought this product because I thought the size is an advantage. I should have read the reviews more carefully since I noticed that someone has already written in his review saying that it is slow. I tried to move a 10G file into my passport, it says "2 hours remaining". That's a disaster......
Also, my passport is not the smallest portable hard drive that is available currently. For those who want a small and fast drive, try other brand!!!
Not reliable February 24, 2010 Jun Yan (Princeton, NJ) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought this item a while back. Not heavily used since. Today I plugged in to my laptop and I had this "click of death.' Basically it becomes piece of junk.
