| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The MF1202X2 presents both style and sophistication with modern design and technology. On the surface you will see a glossy piano black finish with a protective lens covering the full face of the product. The body is slim and modern in design with a metal stand. The stand is adjustable for both vertical & horizontal positioning, and removable for wall mounting of the frame. An intuitive joystick controller is placed on the back of the unit, on the far right, allowing for simple no-look access and ease of use. The remote control magnetically attaches to the back of the unit for storage and safekeeping. From a technological standpoint, the MF1202X2 delivers a full range of features with the power to perform. Watch your homemade or downloaded videos, listen to music, play slideshows or display your favorite picture. You can even set the frame to display the Clock and Calendar while playing a slideshow with your favorite music. Customize the look by adding a 10" X 13" ready-made frame. Simply choose a frameof your liking (Gold, Red, White, Wood, Metal, etc ) from any store that sells pre-made frames (10" X 13"). Lay the frame face down and install the MF1202X2 into the frame. A frame installation kit is included to make this a breeze. You will then have a completely custom look not available from any other digital picture frame.

| Customer Reviews: Good Viewer with menu quirk August 9, 2010 Secret Weapon We chose this 12 inch frame for its photo friendly 4:3 aspect ratio and full lens front. This frame is one of the very few in this category. Plenty good picture at 800 x 600. As the other reviewer pointed out the menus are clunky but learn-able. The one issue that looks like a plain old software BUG is that when you navigate in memory to a folder that contains images the frame starts a little 'filmstrip' slide show. Problem is that the filmstrip function eats up so much processor time that the system can no longer respond to the remote control. Luckily the joystick on the back of the frame has higher priority or is buffered so you can still use the thing. A bit on the fence right now about keeping it. Since there are so few alternatives and we do have a workaround for the remote issue we will probably end up keeping it.
Does The Job August 9, 2010 R. M. Mayhew (St. Louis, MO USA) This is our third purchase of this specific frame. It has a nice display and is compact compared to a prior 12 inch that had a lot of frame around the actual display portion. The quality is good and it works well for picture files. The menu system is a little clunky and difficult to use. I almost called the help desk but discovered the "Back" key lets you access the other set of menus. There is a "Menu" button on the remote but it only accesses part of the settings. That said, once configured it works well and does the job.
