Only did half of the work. June 30, 2008 This drive is a great concept but the one I recieved had a defective media card reader so only the floppy worked which wasn't much help.

Good item to improve your system; 7 in one card reader is practical and easy to install provided your PC present the necessary connections. No cons.

Bought this drive/card reader to replace the external card reader I was using and to add a floppy drive in case there was ever a time I actually needed one. :). Installed very easily, looks good and the combo only takes up the floppy drive bay, giving you a floppy and a card reader in on bay. To top it of, it's much faster than the card reader I was using. Excellent product. Will be installing one in every new build from now on.
Good Idea...bad implementation May 15, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
You require a Floppy Cable, on-board Floppy Connector and on-board USB connector to get this working. Purchased it to get the floppy section cause my mobo didn't have floppy connector - so useless purchase. Got a LS120 Superdrive off ebaY - does the job using IDE connector.
Didn't pickup SD card i put in...i'm swapping with somebody else so hopefully it's a working unit.
7 in one card reader June 27, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a must have for PC modders and builders alike or if you simply want to add a 7 in one card reader, or do a lot of digital photography. Furthermore, you have the classic floppy drive also included. Why would you use a floppy drive in 2007? Well I personally use it with ASR (Automated System Recovery), or when I need to load Sata Drivers for XP 32 or XP 64 even though they are considered obsolete by today's standards.
Nevertheless, if you are not using ASR, then what are people using to backup their data?
