 Worth their weight in gold. November 20, 2008
These headphones are awesome, I love them so much. I thought the sound was really decent, and CERTAINLY nothing to complain about for the price, [...]. A lot of reviews said the bass was too high, sounded right on to me, and it stays solid at high volume.
I've had them for about a month or so and they're pretty sturdy. They don't don't fold or collapse so they're not super compact, but they've held up great being jammed into my messenger bag time after time.
Obviously they LOOK great, and they're a little smaller than I thought, which is nice because I've got a small cranium, and they don't make me look TOO ridiculous... they're light too. When the they came in the mail, I thought I had gotten the wrong order or something, because the package felt WAY too light to have these big retro headphones in it. But they're just nice and light and pretty much perfectly sized.
One concern though: I think it said that these come with a extension and adapter jack... and mine certainly didn't come with either. I really don't care at all, I use these for my computer and my iPod, so I really don't need either, and if I ever do, there's a Radio Shack right down the road. Plus, the 4-foot cord is just right, most headphones have a ridiculously long cord, utterly annoying when you just want it to reach an iPod in your back pocket. Maybe the extension and jack just come with the Ryan Sheckler models or something? I got the white ones, which look AWESOME with my white MacBook by the way... but anyone who wants the cord and jack, I dunno, maybe ask Amazon about it?
Other than that, absolutely no complaints. They're sweet looking, light, sturdy, they sound AWESOME, and they are CHEAP. Worth every penny.

These are quality sound for everyday use. They look way cool too! Definitely a great deal, b/c I've been comparison shopping this item for a few weeks before I purchased it from Amazon. As always, awesome shipping.
Best Headset in the listed price September 16, 2008
Its been almost a month that I am using this headset. I didn't think that in this much less cost I will get a quite satisfactory product. The headset is quite comfortable and is adjustable. Its headband strap is too good. It doesn't pull your hair. Moreover the sound clarity is awesome. Well if u are too much concerned about the every beat of the music and the extra details then this might not be your choice. I think you should go for sony or Boss in that case. But still you can hear the sound very clearly. I would definitely recommend this within $30 for its comfortness and sound clarity.
I rated it as 4 because I am comparing the sound clarity with Sony and Boss. Otherwise w.r.t price it can be rated as 5.
