Simple the best. December 1, 2008 I use this headphone when I go ride my mtb. For me it is the best choice.
Best runner's headphones November 14, 2008 I have a pair of these from a Nike branded MP3 player that I bought several years ago. From a comfort and usability standpoint, I haven't found anything that comes close to these headphones.
The good: The headphones won't fall off your head or out of your ears. They are designed so you can hear surrounding noises (oncoming cars, etc.) They are very lightweight
The bad: The cable is very thin and lightweight so it will eventually short out. It's inevitable.
I've spent hundreds of dollars trying to find a decent set of headphones to use while running, and I'm really glad that Philips is still making these. If they could figure out a way to make them more durable, I would've given it five stars instead of four.
Breaks way too easily November 13, 2008 These are the best lightweight headphones I've found for running or working in the yard. However, they've jacked the price up a full eight dollars since the last set I ordered less than three months ago. Now I'm about to buy my fourth set in two years, because once again, the connection between the headphone and the jack has gone out in one channel. With the overly lengthy cord that dangles behind your back, it's very easy for it to accidentally hook on something as you pass by and yank it, at which point it apparently severs a wire and renders them useless (and I've had no luck repairing them). Extremely irritating, so be careful to tuck the extra cord away in a pocket or somewhere.
I like it. November 9, 2008 I've only been using this product for a couple of weeks.
I like the fact that it stays where it's supposed to stay even when I turn my head around to look for traffic when crossing streets. I've tried to shake my head around to see if it moves, but it always nestles back to where it belongs.
I also like the cord being behind me and not getting in the way of my arms.
Finally, because they're not ear buds I can clearly hear other people approaching who run faster and cars even when the volume is turned up a bit. I think of this as a good thing because I feel safer when I can hear what's going on around me.
Solid product. Best price for sports headphones November 2, 2008 I've owned several pairs of these headphones and they all work great. I've tried other sports headphones and I like the design of these the best.
