Best you can expect November 25, 2008 I'm no audiophile, and so I wasn't going to drop $50+ on a pair of ear buds. These were recommended by a friend, and I couldn't be happier with them. Great sound and fit for their price. If you're looking for a set of budget level ear buds, go with these.
Good 'phones November 23, 2008 I work in a noisy metal shop, and these phones do a good job of blocking the noise, so I don't have to destroy my ears just to hear my ipod over the racket. They sound pretty decent, and have lasted me for something like a year now, whereas before I was going through phones every few months. I'm buying a new set in preparation for the inevitable day when these crap out.
Some of the best (and cheapest) earbuds I've had... November 14, 2008 These earbuds are awesome. The memory foam is soft for the ear, yet stay firm once expanded. I snowboard A LOT and have gotten these earbuds wet on several occasions, yet they still work great. I have yanked, pulled, and snagged the cord on everything and it's mom and the wires have not started to dislocate. Great sound, decent bass. The reason I didn't give it 5-stars was because of the cord texture. The sticky rubber cord snags and rubs harshly on everything, making a pull from my ears. I have jogged with these headphones under my shirts and they always seem to start pulling down, I would prefer a smoother cord. Besides that the rest is gold.
fantastic find for the price October 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After reading a couple of negative reviews, I was skeptical, but the positive ones had me intrigued. I am very glad I bought these. They sound wonderful, and are comfortable. Yes, make sure you put them in right. I was pleasantly shocked at the richness of the sound. Great also for being in noisy environments, yard work, etc. One would use these when they don't need to be connected with their surroundings, so don't ride a bike with them--unless you're in the open country, and careful if you jog in the city or on a path that's shared by bikers. All I can say is these sound great on my iPod. The bass is rich, the mid and high ranges are strong and clear. At this price, this is a terrific find. Will be getting at least another pair. They do come with a second set of earbuds, which is nice.
well worth the price October 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
my girlfriend bought these, but in pink. i had the Shure E2c $60 headphones, which i loved. then one day my expensive headphone broke. so i borrowed her JVC marshmallow's. the sound was almost just as good, only the bass was not as powerfull. the JVC were more comfortable. the JVC blocks out all the outside sound just as good as my Shure E2c. the JVC 3' cord is a little shorter than i would like. but for the price $19.99, or cheaper online. the JVC wins. so i have then bought a pair for my self, and have been using them since, still love them.
