Excellent Quality & Sound January 8, 2009 I admit, I was skeptical of these at first. I've bought several pairs of earbuds in the past, and they all had poor sound quality - plus, they hurt! These, however, were very comfortable, and the audio quality was excellent - far better than I expected! The only disappointment I had was that they didn't reach to my computer's headphone jack, so I can't use them there. But otherwise, they're great, and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for comfy earbuds that have great sound.
Good, but not amazing December 15, 2008 A nice looking set of headphones, for sure. I may be a little overly biased, since I usually listen with high-end cans, but I thought the lows were lacking on bottom end, and somewhat muddy-sounding. The highs were spotty and lacking detail. But remember, I'd just listened to my $200 Sennheisers and am probably being FAR too critical. I was hoping for something to go with my sansa clip for a cheap little workout setup, but I found them unlistenable. It's a pity too, they seem very well made, with a nice case and handy extra goodies. They seem to isolate fairly well too, btw.
Amazing clarity and bass response! I'm truly amazed at this price point... November 27, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I picked these up because they looked very well made and I am completely amazed at the sound quality. The bass is astounding, and the highs are crisp and balanced. This is a stellar accomplishment at this price point.
The only thing bad I can say is that I'm a bit concerned that the packaging warns that the cords contain lead and to "wash your hands after use". Who's going to do that? Still need more information on where the lead is. I can't imagine its on the cord. With that caveat, I say buy as many of these as you can while they last to have some backups. They are the find of the year as far as my ears are concerned. I have a pair of Shure's as well as Grado's and these are right on par with the Grados and blow the shures away.
Coby stepped uP the game with these... November 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These phones have great bass response and the highs are just as clear..Comes with 3 pairs of noise blocker cuffs, thread protected wire and simi hard zipper case. The gold plated mini plug really boost the sound response. Good one COBY!!!!!
