 Better than I thought December 27, 2008
These have great quality and range. I thought that for the price I was getting a slightly cheesy product, but these overwhelmed my expectations. These are comfortable, well padded and have amazing sound quality.
 Interferes with TV signal December 16, 2008
The headset was advertised for use with TV. However, I found that it severely interferes with normal TV [antenna] operations. All TV channels got scrambled when the headset was turned on. As soon as the headset was turned off, the TV signals returned to normal. I don't have cable and only get regular antenna reception for TV. However the same problem happened at my brother-in-law's place - he gets satellite TV [also no cable]. There was no option on the headset to adjust/change the frequency on the headset to avoid interference with the TV signals. As a result I had to return the headset for a refund.

These work as advertised but I had a few issues.
1. They work better in some environments and with some televisions than others. One television or cable box will sound great and another will have background noise.
2. Each time they are turned on they may have lost their connection and it can take several minutes to get it back. This can cause them not to be used at all.
3. They are very bulky so most people will not be able to fall asleep with them on.
4. Both the base unit and the headphones use batteries so you have to remember to turn both off or you're replacing/charging batteries constantly which can leave you without headphones if you don't keep spares handy.
I liked the size of the base unit and the sound is good. I was able to move into adjoining rooms even though I live in an older home with plaster walls containing wire mesh. Once you get over 50 feet turning your head can cause noise or a momentary loss of sound. 70 feet is about the limit as the fade becomes too great.
If you want to water all the plants in the house while listening to TV or music these headphones are probably not the solution you're looking for. But if you just want to watch TV in one room and remember to turn off both units when you're done (so don't go to sleep) this will work well on certain televisions.

For the price, this headset is an excellent deal. I use it for listening to my TV and it does a great job. It is also very handy with the battery operation - allows for easy potability.

I have 2 problems with those headphones: first, they only work with batteries, you can't use them with a power cord, so if you're going to use them a lot like I do, you're going to spend a lot of money on batteries. Second, the quality of the sound is not good. Inside the same room, there are moments when I hear fine, but if I move just a bit I hit a "blind" spot and there's no sound aymore. After a few hours, I can hear only if I'm close to my computer, which defies the purpose of the headphones. Very disappointing product.
