And should your route change as you're driving, the unit's automatic rerouting function will adjust to new directions within three seconds. The large, color touch screen offers a 3D view with pan and zoom functions. The X380 has a 3.5-inch TFT LCD with a 320 x 240-pixel resolution and 250 cd/m2 (candela per square meter) brightness rating--good for viewing under bright sunlight. The built-in speaker system has an 8 ohm impedance and 2-watt power. For closer listening to directions, it also offers a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack. It comes with US road maps loaded onto an included 1 GB Secure Digital (SD) memory card, as well as a DVD with entire mapping of the United States and Puerto Rico. The built-in media player is compatible with MP3 digital audio and JPEG image formats as well as video files saved to SD card. The unit also includes a USB mini port for connecting to a PC for easy downloading directly to the SD card.
