 Good product, fair price January 3, 2009
Monster's brand products are usually overpriced with little noticeable performance gain; especially with today's digital transfer cables. However, this speaker wire is a good product and sold at a competitive price. It felt heavy and was very hard to cut (sign of quality material). I think the sound did sound better from cheap wires, but I had no tester to check. I picked it for the THX certification and the standard 16 Guage. The + and - is hard to tell, but they are not identical. If you can read my review, you should have enough IQ to separate them.

Needed some Really good 16 gauge speaker wire for my new surround sound set up. The price on this monster wire was about equal to the price of other non name brand products, so I went ahead and purchased it. Have to say I am quite pleased with the product. Sounds great, no strange hissing sounds from speakers or anything. Just pure clean power. I would recommend it to anyone. Very Easy to work with as well.
 Very Good Wire for small home theater project November 17, 2008
This spekaer wire is good for any home theater system that one might do themselves. The wire is easy to work with, ample amount of wire, and doesn't look that bad if left in plain sight. I used this wire on a small project I was doing for my childrens play room. I had more than enough wire to set their 5.1 system up, at least alot more than what came with the orginal speakers. I'm no audio guru so I could'nt tell you if I hear any difference, but it does make me feel more comfortable to know that I am using a much thicker wire to carry all the sound frequencies than that dental floss stuff that came with the speakers. The wire was easy to work with, did'nt bind or curl up. Splicing the ends to the speakers was easy with a simple wire cutter/splicer. 100' Monster Cable 16 Gauge THX SP 16-100 Speaker Wire
Great Speaker Wire! August 18, 2008
This is excellent speaker wire. It handles over 150 watt Marantz receiver outputs and the speakers sound great. A major improvement over the 20 year old wire I was using before. There are a lot of fine strands of wire, and that's where the better audio frequency handling capability comes from. I'm sure there's better wire made, but for the price, this is a real good quality speaker wire. I'm pleased!
