Great home office phone October 6, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
As the title suggests, I purchased this phone for my home office. Overall, I am very satisfied with it. However, there are two negatives. First, there's no voice mail indicator light on the base. Secondly, the voice mail indicator that is on the handset is only visible if the top end of the phone is pointing towards you. They should have made the indicator larger and wrapped it up and over the top edge of the phone. Other than those two minor issues I highly recommend this phone.
excellent phone for a reasonable cost September 22, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am very satisfied with my purchase of my Panasonic Cordless Telephone. The reception is excellent, the ease in setting up my phone initally was excellent and a "breeze", and battery life before requiring charging on the base is also excellent. I plan on expanding and purchasing two more as this model can accomadate three phones actually.
Happy with it so far September 19, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I replaced a badly behaving Uniden phone with this one a few weeks back and so far I'm pretty happy with it.
I do agree with what another user said as far as it feeling "cheap". It does have a sort of light, unsubstantial, undurable sort of feel to it. But on the other hand it is compact, feels good in your hand, and has a really nice display.
One feature I really like about it is that I use verizon voicemail, and it has a really nice clear indicator that you've received voicemail without having to dial in or lift up the headset and listen to the dialtone.
Not that impressive... September 6, 2008 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
First thing I noticed when I recieved this phone, is how cheaply made it is. The phone reciever is made of plastic and feels very cheap. The base is worst & probably made of the cheapest plastic on the planet. You would think a phone costing near $50, would be made better. This alone made me want to return it right away. I had 2 GE phones before this and both were made better. Compared to my 5.8Ghz GE phone, I didn't see any difference in sound quality. This phone is greatly overrated and overpriced. It does come with a few cheezey melody rings and call blocking. But my phone service already provides call blocking. The only good thing I can say about it is it does have good range, better than my GE. I could see paying $25 for this would be a fair price, but $47 is ridiculous.
Drops calls September 6, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this as a replacement for the Panasonic KX-TH1212B which drops calls like crazy because it uses the same handsets. I have a mix of the 930 and 935 drop and splash handsets. This phone drops calls too! The phones (both models, bases and handsets) are beautiful and have great functionality and quick response, but are unreliable and frustrating that calls get dropped. I will never buy another Panasonic phone.
