 Starts malfunctioning within a few weeks July 9, 2008
Don't buy this product. The autostop function on mine has already stopped working, and the basket is only half-full of shredded papers. I've since read that the drive shaft between the motor and the cutters will be the next thing to go, and then I'll have a $69 piece of trash to dispose of. Who would have thought that something as simple as a shredder would require defensive research? But it does.

This is one heavy duty paper shredder, and the mean qualities of this shredder can be witnessed by the heavy weight and monstrous two-rowed metal teeth it has.
Excellent for shredding Credit cards. Gives user satisfaction afterwards.

Stay away from this horrible product. I bought mine in May 2006 - I've used it about 5 times since. Today, I tried to turn it on, and it no longer works. I spent close to $70 on it, and of course I don't have the receipt over a year and a half later so I can't return or exchange it. Useless product. Checking out reviews at Staples reveals that many people had an equally horrible experience with the next model in this line.
