Way to hard to program compared to what I replaced (PanasoniscTG6021B) to many steps. No auto dial to retrieve massages. Uncomfortable to hold close to ear.
great phone system April 21, 2008
This product was received on time and in perfect condition. It was easy to set up and works fantastic. I am most impressed with the handset speaker-phone system, as it has allowed me to speak by phone with my 93 yr old mother for the first time in a couple of years, as well as allowing her to be in contact with her long-distance friends and relatives. She wears hearing aids and no phone system would work for her because of feedback from the hearing aids, I tried several brands that were supposed to be "hearing aid compatible" but still produced feedback. She is also not able to walk to the base station, so it was imperitive to have speaker-phone capabilities in the handset. Thank you Phillips for this wonderful improvement in her life.

I ordered this refurbished phone from amazon thinking that it would come in a sealed factory packing and would look as good as new. But instead they sent me this phone may be returned by some other customer. Everything was just thrown in the box, (not to mention box was open), all wires untied, no packing material in the product box except two crushed thin paper sheets, and the worst thing phone has texture rubbed off beside the earpiece and from the lower right side of one handset, plus smaller base has scratches on it. I wanted to send it as a gift to my wife but now I am feeling highly reluctant as now its just something like what I was using and gave it to her, and not something new. I still dont know about the battery that how long it lasts.
I would have liked the phone if it was in close to new condition.
This was my first buy from amazon and I am highly disappointed. At least give me a new packing for God's sake.

I purchased these new phones in December 2007 to replace my Panasonic 2.4 GHz phones that were taking down my wireless internet every time the phone rang. The new phones look sharp and work great. The answering system was very easy to set-up and use. The handsets use regular "AAA" rechargeable batteries. I use the speaker phone feature quite often and the clarity is amazing. I also like the easy to use MUTE selection. The color display shows battery level, signal strength, date & time, and new messages. The message indicator flashes each time a new message is received and shows the number of messages you have. The base unit and handsets are very high quality. PHILIPS has done a great job here!
