 Feature Packed and High Quality September 28, 2008
This phone is basically a coupled handset and answering system base station. The quality of manufacture is among the very best I have used.
Sound quality is excellent. The handset is sync'd to the base for messages or voice memos.
There are more features available than can be described here, but the machine can be put into use for messages within a few minutes. I use Skype and have no problems with the chimes others have had using other VOIP services.
Comes with a built-in SIMM card reader for transferring of phone numbers.
Only minor and mean minor drawback is the limited choice of ring tones. A USB interface would give this a rating of 5 stars.
No regrets about this purchase.

Love these phones. September 9, 2008
I have bought and thrown away a lot of different types and styles of phones. The Philips SE7451B/37 DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone with Single Handset and Digital Answering Machine is the best phone I've ever used. I researched phones for quite a while before choosing these. They are a bit expensive but well worth the money. They look good, sound good and work well for what they were designed to do. Clear and easy to understand voice communication. Everything else is just icing on the cake. I use two base stations which come with a handset and 3 additional stand alone handsets. Buy these, you won't be sorry.
Great color display, Loud speakerphone mode and Simcard reader! August 31, 2008
I had this phone for an year now and it is very good for IP based phone services. I have vonage and it goes very well with that. I like the speakerphone of this unit as it is vry loud and clear for the whole family to participate in the conversation. You can just read all entries from mobile simcard at one shot! The display is really very clear for a handset. The only thing I don't like in this phone is it's weight. It's a bit bulky, but you can always place it on a table and use spearphone. A phone is to speak, voice clarity is awesome. I recommed this anyone looking for a phone. Backed up by philips reliable service.

I really like the features of this phone, namely its ability to copy the contents of our sim cards so virtually all of our contacts are programmed instantly into the phone. I like the size, and the way it fits in my hand. The speaker phone has good fidelity and is not echoey. However, this phone has the absolute worst selection of ring tones I think I have ever encountered. The only one that even resembles a "normal" ring has no pause between bleeps so it's a sort of continuous wailing that's totally obnoxious.
