Great color printer November 18, 2008 Fabulous quality in the color printing. The cartridges are a little tricky to get in place correctly, but other than that, it's a great printer.
HP Color Laser Jet 3600 - Great printer - Amazing price November 16, 2008 I am a real-estate agent in a small town and send out a thousand or so post cards monthly. This printer prints beautifully and very clearly, even on card stock. I highly recommend this printer to individuals and small businesses.
Workhorse November 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought two of these on sale for the cost of the toner included. Use them in our home business to print lengthy reports, sometimes 3-5K pages a day. Have used long enough to have replaced toner on both systems, some colors multiple times.
The printers are reliable and produce great quality print and graphics. The are not photo printers but do an admirable job on illustrations and photos embedded in business documents.
We have also produced heavy weight, glossy brochures for a client on these to rave reviews.
Paper feeds without issue, and if we run out of toner mid printing the system stops for replacement and then picks up where it left off, not losing a single page. Very cool indeed.
Printers are currently USB connected and shared on my network. Seems to work just fine. Will probably try to hook up via ethernet when I reorganize the office, however don't see this as all that important at the moment.
HP Color Laserjet 3600n Printer October 30, 2008 I cannot recommend this product as I have had to replace the electrostatic transfer mechanism on this printer 2 times due to mechanical failures. Each lasting an average of only 7 months with minimal use. I have been using HP printing technology for 12 years and have had 5 HP printers 2 of them utilizing color laser technology, models 3600n and color laser 1518ni. HP's Color Laser technology group has been a let down. On a positive note my black and white laser printers are working very well.
PRINTING ENVELOPES PROBLEM CAN'T BE SOLVED! October 8, 2008 We got this printer for our office. This printer has a problem printing envelopes. When you print an envelope the envelope comes out wrinkled and sealed. I called HP customer service and they told me they had many complaints about this issue from other customers and that unfortunately there is no solution for it. They suggested to upgrade the printer for some other model. The price of the model they suggested was $1,200. We had to return the printer and get another brand. Don't recommend.
