 DO NOT BUY if you have windows VISTA!! January 30, 2008
Do not buy this printer, I bought a brand new Gateway and they put this printer "if you can call it one" with my package. It only works with Vista for a few days and they go back and try to use it, you will get a "cannot communicate with computer-printer error" call Lexmark and you will be told to download vista drivers from their site, do that, it still won't work. Now I am trying to clean these programs off my computer and I can't even get that accomplished yet!! NEVER another Lexmark in my future, nothing but headaches with this one!!
Worst Printer I've Ever Owned October 15, 2007
This thing is garbage. I've owned it for a few months and the ink is gone already. Cartridges are VERY VERY small. Also, Lexmark intentionally makes the cartridges IMPOSSIBLE to re-fill yourself. If you're looking to throw money down the drain, this printer is for you. Terrible. Just terrible. Stay far, far away from this piece of garbage.
Poor designed Product and a paper weight August 17, 2007
I got this printer with the laptop I purchased. THis one has been pain ever since. I have replaced toner cartridge on it already and I have yet to get a good print job from this printer. Not a good printer.
 Great for the price July 7, 2007
Bought this on sale at Wal-Mart, wasn't expecting too much, but I needed a printer for the house for light use. Easy to install, had no issues getting the printer or scanner drivers working etc. Printing, is good, haven't had any issues with the actual machine. The print cartridges that I bought with it did clog very badly only about 3 wks after buying it though. The scanner is a pretty poor quality one, though decent for just general use. Overall it's a very basic machine, decent quality, great for the price. The downside is that, the cartridges are pretty expensive for the machine.
