 VERY Bright Laser! Great Value - Recommended! November 30, 2008
The "30mw Green Laser" is a very powerful green laser that is the brightest non-professional (read expensive) laser I have ever used. The beam is visible for a LONG distance at night and plenty bright even in well lit rooms.
The laser comes with two AAA batteries so you can use it right away. Also, one reviewer noted that his did not come with the "Double Bonus LED Flashlight and Lens Cloth" but mine did (not that it would have influenced my buying of this laser).
For what you get and the price, this is a great deal! Highly recommended!
Great Laser November 26, 2008
I bought this laser for my son and he has had a blast with it. I teach a Sunday evening class at church and he took everyone outside and showed how it pointed at stars. We don't have a lot of experience with laser pointers but we have been very satisfied with this one. It does use up batteries pretty quickly though.

I got mine within 2 business days, and when it came i got the flashlight and cloth w/it. the laser works perfect i used it in the day and it was very visible and then at night it was really amazing in the fog. you could clearly see the whole beam for a good half mile, and it may have been further i just didnt have a long enougn target to hit. If i had to find a con about it, it would be that when your inside and your pointing it the end dot fades withing a couple of seconds but its still really bright,but it isnt really noticable outside so no harm really. i would recomend it to everyone

Amazing. I was astonished when I placed the batteries in the laser pointer and turned it on. The laser is so bright. Even at noon I can see the dot. I just got it and i am very happy with the product. I can barely see the beam from the laser, but it's still noon so ill see what happens at night.

The black teflon-ish coating flakes and peels off after a while.
30mW is plenty bright with good alkaline batteries.
It drains other batteries fast.
