Great handset speakerphone & great battery life September 6, 2008 By and large, this phone is what I expected with one big surprise: I used to use headsets with my phones to free my hands. But the speakerphone on the remote handsets is terrific and I use them that way 95% of the time. The other party never notices that I'm using a speakerphone.
The base unit speakerphone is the usual crummy only-when-necessary type.
I've also noticed that the battery life is very good, even when using the speakerphone.
The worst phone we have owned yet September 1, 2008 We bought one of these sets and within a few month the volume/navigation control started to fail. pretty soon most of the buttons stopped working. I needed a replacement and thought it may have just been a lemon. Silly me! I bought a second one and guess what? Same problem in about 6 months. Don't waste your money on this one.
Panasonic is the best August 28, 2008 I have always been using panasonic phones for the last 2 decades and have been happy with their performance. This model has an exceptionally good and clear reception and a reasonable range of service. The menu is a bit complicated but it is just a matter of days that you get used to it. In all, a great phone

Panasonic KX-TG6702B 2-Line 5.8 GHz FHSS August 27, 2008 So far this phone is great, had for about a month, no problems. The sound quality is great on the handset as well as on speakerphone. Range is good , haven't tried it too far yet but works in barn and at neighbors. Lots of features and easy to set up. It is nice, and easy, to be able to get messages from handsets. I have already recommended to others. It is a little pricy, but I got tired of replacing cheap cordless phones, and hope this one will last. I wish it came with the belt clips, but you can order them from panasonic. I have notused the second line and don't know if I will, but to get the features this is what I chose.
