 Great Little Flash Drive September 17, 2008

I've had this little 4 GB flash drive on my key chian for about a year now and couldn't ask anything more of it. I'll buy an 8 GB when the price gets down a little lower.
 Unreliable and slow - Wish it worked March 3, 2008

I own and really like the 256MB version of this swivel flash drive. There is no cap to lose, and it has been reliable for several years. When I decided to upgrade to a larger flash drive I decided to just get the same drive in a larger size. The larger version does not work nearly as well as the smaller version.
Slow - Flash drives can be slow when copying many small files. This one is really slow. I copied about 200 MB of small and medium sized files to the drive, it took 50 minutes. When copying one large file of about 130 MB it did it in about 2 minutes, that is fast enough for my needs.
Unreliable - This is the real problem. I worked on a Word file located on the drive and saved my work periodically (on a Windows PC). When I got home, the file was unchanged. I lost my work. At home (on a Mac) I worked on another file, same problem. When I saved the file, Word appeared to save it. But when I looked at the file it was unchanged.
I really like the size and swivel top, but I cannot trust this drive.

I've tried many recently but this one is the best among all specially when inserting in new pc recognition is fastest I've ever seen. the only problem is the body paint will vanish by the using which makes it old sooner , but comparing to performance this is nothing.
