 Don't Waste Your Money November 25, 2008
Poorly designed. The item is a flash drive in a rubber sleeve. USB broke solder points under minimal use. I had to hyper extend the drive to make and keep connection long enough to retrieve data. Thankfully it wasn't full.

I've been looking for a flash drive that could be used as an emergency boot drive for my MacBook Pro for a long time and the 16 GB OCZ ATV fits the bill in spades! Even with a very robust system install (10.5.5), it not only has room for TechTool Pro, Disk Warrior, Drive Genius and a slew of other utilities, it boots in less than a minute and a half!!
Highly recommended.

Fastest read rate so it'll be perfectly suitable for sneakernetting movies from the internet to my Philips DVP5992. (That last "2" is very important in the philips model.. those ending in "0" will have USB2.0 issues). Until I get my XBOX360 mod'd with XBMC..
OCZ has a very SOLID customer service attitude, and while their turn around time isn't the bestest it is most adequate. This will be my fifth OCZ usb Flash Drive
... and for 11 more than one score after rebate to boot! sadly I had to risk purchasing it from the evil "new"egg site :( -- they're great at repackaging returned, often defective items, until a sucker eats the cost. Small claims court is your friend ;) Refuse poorly packaged items via the shipper so you'll not be extorted into paying shipping THREE times for one new item.
c'mon amazon break out the price matching!

All it took was a slight movement of the computer tower while I was connecting the flash drive and it bent right from the rubber housing. Upon further inspection I found nothing but solder was given the responsibility to protect my valuable data.
A poor show of design flaws an otherwise promising tool.
