Product Description Ultimate Mahjongg 20 lets you play the classic game like never before. The goal in mah jongg is to clear the screen of tiles by matching pairs. Sounds easy, but there's a lot more to it -- you will need patience and cunning to become a mahjong master! It comes with tile sets, layout editors as well as everything else you could want from a mah jongg game.

| Customer Reviews: Hard to see tiles July 28, 2010 Ms_k Own many games of MahJong, and this one is the worst if you have lower vision. The tile set is hard to see, which does not help speed of completing. I like to have different tile sets for variety. I would not recommend this particular game; there are others out there that provide more game pleasure.
Runs on 64-bit Vista. February 26, 2009 Loren (Indiana, USA) I was seeking a newer version of Shanghi, the old DOS game. This is it. It also includes several other tile games, which I haven't tried yet, including one or two for two players.
Windows Vista comes with a similar game called Mahjohg Titans. The problem with that game is that it appears that the tiles are not dealt randomly. Too often matching tiles will be directly beneath each other or side-by-side. I don't think it's random. This game, Ultimate Mahjongg 20, appears to be truly random (or as close as you can get with a computer).
This game installed on my notebook computer which is running Windows Vista Home Premium, 64-bit edition. It does not require the CD to be in the drive in order to play the game.
One quirk: After the installation, I could not find any way to start a game. As it turns out, on my computer the background is black and the game buttons are not visible until you pass the mouse cursor over them. They are in two columns along the right and left sides of the screen.
I tried several setting adjustments to obtain some way to make the game selections visible but so far have had no luck. It's not a problem once you figure it out. [Edit: See the comments on this review for a way to change the main screen so that it becomes visible. Thanks, Donald.]
All in all a fun game. I'm glad I can play it again.

I'm so happy that I could get this from you. I had it in a previous edition, but couldn't install it on my new desktop computer. I have always enjoyed playing these games. Thanks for the opportunity to have this again.
Does not work on a Mac October 27, 2007 C Hughes (OK. USA) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
Be careful with what you buy. I was searching under mac games and this one came up. It does not work with a Mac.
Ultimate Mahjongg is the Best July 11, 2007 P. J. Coffman (N Las Vegas NV) 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
I have Ultimate Mahjongg 10,15,20 and they are by far the best Mahjongg matching tiles I have ever played. I have tried several versions of this game and this series is the best.
