Finally, a handsfree speakerphone that performs as promised February 4, 2006 8 out of 12 found this review helpful
I recently purchased an MV900 for use with my Treo 650 after reading about it in the Wall Street Journal. Since the 650 was released, I have tried an incredible array of Bluetooth buds and hands free kits. All of suffered from the same issues - annoying echoes and poor sound quality. Almost everyone on the other side of the call complained and said that I sounded like I was calling from a tin can. For awhile, I even went back to a "wired" solution with the Shure high performance boom mic.
The MV900 is the first device that I've used where people have said that it sounded as if I were calling from the office.
I drive a stick shift, so voice command, voice dialing, and audible caller ID are huge conveniences. I take the MV900 with me everywhere I go. It's small and it clips right to the visor. I still use a Jabra BT headset, but I find myself leaning towards the MV900 most of the time because it sounds better and I prefer not to stick a plastic bud inside my ear.

I got this thing three months ago, my ear was tired of a bud and looking like I was the borg.
I really like the Voice caller ID, the calls coming in are announced so I can decide if I want to take the call without having to look at my phone. Makes it a lot safer. Also the fact that it can store all my passwords and extensions for voicemail for my phone and office, I don't use the one for home.
Took me a day to get used to just speaking to the unit in a normal voice, I'm so used to having to speak like a computer to my other VR stuff. I'll say this it's clear and loud. I'm glad I got one, but then I was required to get one for my wife a week later. She requested it! LOL
Perfect for Palm Treo 650 January 12, 2006 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Perfect for Palm Treo 650
I got this USB and Bluetooth speakerphone thru Amazon and love it!
Treo has been a great smartphone for me, but it suffers from very poor speaker and speakerphone volume. I need to use my speakerphone for conference calls and I just cannot use the Treo for this.
The MVox MV900 USB and Bluetooth Speakerphone turns my Treo into a high-quality portable speakerphone. The MV900 offers super audio quality because of its advanced DSP voice processing technology. No echo, no background noise, even on freeways while I am driving. I move around all the time, so this is perfect for me.
In fact, Palm has endorsed this product as officially Treo 650 Compatible. Read more here: http://store.palm.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2160279
Highly recommend for all mobile users who are looking for business-grade conference call gear to go with your smart phones.
